eCourse FAQs

FAQs and Term & Conditions

How does an eCourse work?

Online learning is a great way to learn in your own time via downloadable documents, video tutorials and emails.

You will be sent a link to the video tutorials and mini e-book (which include worksheets and reading lists etc) through the course.  For my Creative Journalling course, the emails are daily, for the others they are less frequent.

What if I have any questions, can I get in touch with you?

Within reason, I’m happy to answer your technical and basic questions by email during the duration of the course.

I am not able to offer 1-1 coaching to participants or coaching in person, sorry!

Can I do the course faster (or slower) and do I have to do everything on the course?

You can work entirely at your own pace and skip bits if it suits you - however much you do, I’m confident you will get something positive from it!

The courses cover different art forms, so that you can try new things or work in a way you are already familar with.

What is the course (and what isn't it)?

My courses are a series of exercises, tips, prompts, questions and small, fun projects to get your creativity flowing.  They are intended to inform, inspire and entertain you.

I don't teach specific art techniques and my courses are not a spiritual teaching, or a substitute for proper mental self-care, financial, legal or business advice.

Creativity is fun, and it does improve your life in many ways, but I am not qualified to delve into difficult personal issues and would never do so, nor am a legal, financial or business expert.  All of my offerings are made with this clear disclaimer.

Some of the exercises on my course may be introspective and searching, however I always ask participants to approach them with a proper sense of their own mental wellbeing.

We may also look at money, marketing and business issues but always with the understanding that you will use your own judgement and consult the appropriate experts.

I’m on holiday for some of the time the course is running, does that mean I can’t join in?

No indeedy. Although the course is launched on a specific date and runs for 30 days, you can work at your own pace, so starting late is not a problem.

What will I need?

You will need a computer & internet connection that can cope with live videos, and is able to open reasonably large documents in PDF.  All of the materials can be viewed online, so don't worry too much if you have a slow download time.

You don't need to be a computer whizz, but will need a basic understanding of how to view and download things from the internet, although I do provide some Tech FAQs for each course, too :)

I'm not on Facebook, will I miss out?

The Facebook groups are a great addition to my courses, but I never design them with the expectation that you will be participating there, so don't worry about missing anything.

What if I want to take my creativity further at the end of the course?

I’m pleased you asked!  I will be creating more courses to develop, nurture and expand your creative practice as the course ends.

How do I sign up?

Just register via my eCourses page, make your payment online (unless the course is free!) and wait for the course to start!

Can I get a refund?

I'm afraid I don't issue refunds once you have booked on a course or programme.

I have many years experience of teaching, and put a great deal of time and effort into the materials and am convinced that, if you show up and do the work, you will get excellent results and have a lot of fun.
